First to Chalfont St Giles
Then we stopped at St John the Baptist, Little Missenden.
And on to Hughenden Manor the home of Benjamin Disraeli.
There were quite a few Red Kites this one came just about into range of my travel zoom.
My first Blue butterfly of the year.
The house was used by the military during World War II, and the basement now has an exhibition of life on the home front. History to some, memories to my dad "I had one of those..."

ReplyDeleteI like the shots with the windows a lot. Actually all the shots are rather lucious with details. The Metro museum of art is having an exhibit reported in todays new york times entitled Rooms with a view and it reminded me of your shots with windows. They are very nice indeed.
