I see it! it isn't in "the book" but I've seen reference to it in other books so ......
So I headed to Rye Meads.
Saw a Great Crested Grebe which is quite unusual at RM.
From Moorhen hide a Little Grebe was giving a Coot some grief. I presume it had chicks in the area.
From the bridge leading to the hide I espied this Reed Warbler
As I walked the path a Garden Warbler was in good voice.
A nice Pochard family from Tern hide.
There was also a Tufty family.
A coot tried to get on a tern raft and was given short shrift by the Terns!
The Gadwall family was about.
I found this young Reed Warbler (not a good shot he surprised me!).
At Kingfisher hide a Coot was given a Tufty grief!! He had a family.
No Kingfishers but there were 3 Kestrels in the nest box and the adults were feeding them.
Nice windows and other decorations in the church. Those ducklings are just adorable.

I remember thinking, when I visited there last year, the best use of a pylon I'd ever seen :)
