As some of you will have read I visted Abbotsbury Swannery earlier this year. It was with great regret that I read that three mute swans found dead there had the H5N1 strain of bird flu.
Other Swans are currently being tested. This could be disastrous news.

ReplyDeleteThats terrible news i hadn't seen it I do hope it is a spurious small out break and that the swans will not have to be culled.
