All the marble in Holkham Hall looks amazing.. someow suggests there should be a large bath or simmilar!

Another good day by the sounds of it. It looks strangely deserted in Wells and strange items in the pet store!

Houghton Hall's Fallow deer bred for whiteness are the opposite of those at Parham bred to be the dark colour!

Presumably the silver creation and slate circle are sculptures?

Love the shaped ponds and reflections!

I really enjoyed the pictures. I love what looks like a fountain with a lions head and plants going up around it. Also the wooden people with the signs. My favorites are Grumpy Old Gits garden and Bugger Off, ahahaha. Gives me ideas.

Sandringham looks lovely and those goslings are rather cute :) Love the white rabbit - lol! Have to admit my daughter used to take her first rabbit for walks round the garden on a lead! But I would never have thought of taking one out anywhere!

Another good set of pics Pete and Sheringham looks rather quaint and obviously fishy...Like your dad with his 'friend' and that 'octopus'-like tree at Sheringham is wonderful.

The slipper bath looks more like an instrument of torture though....

Thanks for #38 Holbein's portrait of an huge and handsome Henry the eighth. I just finished Hillary's second volume about Thomas Cromwell and so its fab to see the portrait of Henry, the fool for love. He certainly was good looking. Guess it was an early portrait.
