What's interesting about the second one is that most people (I think) would zoom in on the market, but the first thing you notice (through Pete's eyes) are the looming buildings.

I need more of that perspective from an agoraphobic point of view... the people are incidental to the place. And places are always interesting.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-22777475.post-13890875546962509722008-05-22T22:20:00.000+01:002008-05-22T22:20:00.000+01:00Funnily enough they remind me of my parents holida...Funnily enough they remind me of my parents holiday photos from the 50s - and that's not an insult. They have a lovely nostalgic feel.

Right, you're probably sick of my comments by now. Somehow it accentuates the shapes of the plants and trees, and they stand out in their own right. The eye is not distracted by colour.

They're all definitely picture postcards though :)Tricia Ryderhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/05010432313312804286noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-22777475.post-24559252620198697162008-05-22T12:26:00.000+01:002008-05-22T12:26:00.000+01:00Carin - not all, I'll have a playjoanna - that was...Carin - not all, I'll have a play
joanna - that was what I was trying for. taThe Quacks of Lifehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/05165918541194607143noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-22777475.post-45234900100160864272008-05-22T09:38:00.000+01:002008-05-22T09:38:00.000+01:00They look like old-fashioned postcards that used t...They look like old-fashioned postcards that used to be on sale decades ago ... rather nice, in a gentle sort of way

JoannaJoannahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/06790888857849562408noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-22777475.post-90021931215275958392008-05-22T08:31:00.000+01:002008-05-22T08:31:00.000+01:00I like the first one very much! Do you mind if I add that I think it would be even more stunning if you had cropped it (cutting away the house and the road only leaving the pier)? The fourth picture is just simply gorgeous.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.com
