Chartwell

I went to Chartwell today... It is famous as the home of Sir Winston Churchill. Now I don't find the house particularly attractive and if the house hadn't been Churchill's it wouldn't get the number of visitors it does.... as it is it often heaves with people.

The situation of the house is lovely and the garden is gorgeous!

There was a Hummingbird Hawkmoth but alas it wasn't posing!

The light was odd.... one direction glorious blue skies  the other cloud!

Lots of Greylags by the lake.

There is an often a posy heron by the lake.
