Beningborough Hall and Sutton Park

I almost didn't go to Beningborough today, it is father's day and I knew the place would be heaving but it has a lovely garden and the forecast was good and butterflies were on my mind...

The house is Georgian and has an exhibition of portraits from the National Portrait Gallery. It also has other varying exhibitions.

One way of telling you where to get a cuppa!

Anyway the gardens

Just when I thought it was butterfly light... a Painted Lady!!

Lunchtime...

and another Painted Lady was sat next to me!

Now I could have gone in the house but I have a few times and I hadn't been to Sutton Park in ages!! so..

Sutton Park is another Georgian house....

Hello another one!!

The view as I sat and read! I've had worse

Oh and as forecast on the met office app the rain arrived!
