Botallack & Trerice

So after some dodgy weather yesterday afternoon it was better today! I went to Botallack this morning. Botallack has been both of the Poldark adaptions.

So I wandered up to Trerice a tudor house built mostly in 1572. It's not a big place but I really like it....... the garden is also relatively small but a lovely place to read a book!

This chap was supervising the garden terrace used as a tea room!

A lovely spot for a cuppa!

Super to see the tin mines - whenever I see photos of them I think not only of Poldark but also of Daphnne du Maurier's book "Vanishing Cornwall".
