Packwood

Packwood is about 2 miles down the road from Baddesley. Although it is a tudor house, it was heavily victorianised and from 1925 Baron Ash restored it removing the "improvements". It is a mix of authenticity and pastiche. It has a particularly fine yew garden.

The installation show cases Ash's service in WWI. The barrage balloons contain writing's from his diary.

The scone which was pretty good a bit too stodgy but not bad.

I met up with Ragged Robin and her bear Timothy. Nice to meet you after so long!
