Ickworth & Finchingfield

The forecast was for heavy rain this morning so I made no plans had breakfast and did a bit of shopping but as it wasn't as bad as forecast I went to Ickworth.

the house is closed for the winter but the basement is open.

Stopped at Finchingfield on the way home

East Anglia is packed with lovely village signs.... this is one of my faves. Can't think why.

So home time and ? the sun started to come out!
