A grey day in London

I do hate grey days like this and I apologise for the rubbish pictures.... some of these were taken very early as well!

Anyway off to London for a concert...

Another travelling companion.

We got off the tube

This poor church is dwarfed :(

Leadenhall Market

Now this is an interesting dining experience.... keeps the chill out in winter I guess

The Globe

Two different black backed gulls

Not a Henry Moore but was erected with their help.

A gonk.

These are apparently a type of modern seat.....

This is the sculpture on the 4th plinth.

The concert was the Cassard/Grimal/Gastinel Trio performing

Beethoven - Piano Trio in D Op, 70 No 1 'Ghost'
Schubert  - Piano Trio No 2 in Bb D898

and very good it was....

Hope you don't get this comment twice as I lost the first one! Love the photos of London - you always find something different to photograph. Gonk bought back memories (I once had quite a collection) and interesting to read all about them! :)
