Audley End

So what to do on my Birthday? I know get the car serviced!! So I spent the first two hours in a garage reading!  I did temper the levels of excitement by not getting my hair cut!

I therefore elected to stay local and headed to Audley End.

Some of the Mallards were hiding at the small lake!

There were two families of Tufties on the small lake.

Everyone say ah!

There were lots of Small Tortoiseshell Butterflies.

The wildflowers above are lovely to see.

I am now drinking a nice glass of Spitfire Sauvignon Blanc to celebrate!

A belated Happy Birthday Pete.
Audley End looks as lovely as ever and good to see the Small Tortoiseshells - butterflies seem in low supply so far this year.
