Lavenham, The Guildhall and Melford Hall

The forecast wasn't good for today but as it was turned out ok! but because of that I decided I'd visit a few old haunts that you have all seen MANY MANY times.

First of Lavenham and its fine Guildhall...

A working red phone box!

The guildhall.... fabulous looking building

The exhibits show it's various uses over the years!

Not the most diverse of menus!

Not sure either of these would work....

The old photographs show how much the town/village? has been restored over the years.

They change the exhibits in one room and at the moment it is of work by local artists.

Brunch and as ever the Guildhall scones are very good.

Detail from the guildhall

Love the contrast here!

So I wandered to Melford Hall for lunch. Lots of cars!

I had my lunch outside.... yes outside!!  I had a lovely tomato an red pepper soup and decided against having the bread as they now have homemade scones!! Nice too

A nice day!
