Wimpole Hall

With the weather forecast pants I headed to Wimpole Hall as today the House itself was open.

OOH the cheese stall was there!!

It is the 300th anniversary of the birth of the English Landscape architect Lancelot Capability Brown. Wimpole was designed by Brown and to celebrate there are these mirrors placed about the estate to provide "views". I didn't go round all of them as it was hardly the weather.....

Alas no Scone of the month so a nice fruit one!

This poor chap as been here all winter!!

At this point the cold and rain drove me in!

Lunch was Carrot and Coriander soup. I eschewed the bread for a cheese scone!

Not a bad days shopping....
