Rye Meads

And so where to go this afternoon?? Do I head to Wimpole for a new scone of the month? Go to Audley End? As it was I headed to Rye Meads. It was all fairly quiet, there was a Green Sandpiper and a Peregrine about which I never saw .... but I did see a female Brambling on the walk back to the centre. There were Cetti's calling, Reed Bunting and loads of ducks all looking very dapper.

The view from the Kingfisher hide.

No Kingfisher.... just a male and female Gadwall

I went back to the spot where the Brambling had been reported and there was one female and this little chap!
