Minsmere and Dunwich again

We spent the night at The Ship Inn at Blaxhall. The evening meal was very good value and the room clean and comfy.  Not the height of luxury but VERY good value for money....

After breakfast we headed to Minsmere.

Although the sun was out the birds were a little more camera shy FLIPPING typical. Still as we walked along North Wall despite the wind we were the ping ping of 3 Bearded Tits that flew over!!

We actually managed to get good views of a Cetti's!! We heard lots of them! all the usual suspects. The last new species of the weekend was a Treecreeper always a lovely little bird to see.

Wren

Avocet

Oystercatcher

Redshank

Adder

We popped to Dunwich for lunch :)

We wandered on to the heath and got to see Stonechat and Dartford Warblers!

Good weekend!
