Clandon Park & Hatchlands Park

Clandon Park

You can only take photos in the Marble Hall. It's an interesting house.

The Onslows of Clandon are related to the compsoer George Onslow (French!). Clandon was used as a hospital during WWII it was interesting to note that Newfoundland was separate to Canada in 1945!

The scone was disappointing nice Broccoli and Stilton soup

Just up the road is Hatchlands Park

another poor scone :(

No photos inside, It has a fine collection of keyboard instruments (including those owned by Chopin and Mahler)

We were serenaded by Robins all day but this one posed.

A detour home via Denbies vineyard!! some wine was purchased :)
