Sunday Sunday

Today was my first Sunday morning chamber music concert of the new season.

We headed first to the Tower of London to look at the poppies. The poppies are in place to mark the 888,246 British military dead.

The Trinity Gardens are home to the memorial to the Merchant Navy.

The concert was Cuarteto Casals playing

Mozart Adagio and Fugue in C minor K546
Haydn String Quartet in C Op. 20 No. 2
Beethoven String Quartet in E flat Op. 74 'Harp'

and very good it was to. The Haydn being particularly good.

Poppies were amazing to see 'for real'... a lovely way to commemorate all those who they represent...
