London Small Historic Houses

When I was doing my Fenton House blog last weekend I discovered that Fenton is a member of an organisation of London Small Historic Houses. I was a little surprised as its an organisation I have never heard anything of!

It's an organisation of 11 small houses in central London (the website says 9 but the map lists 11!!) it was formed in 2008 with a view to encourage more people to discover and enjoy these beautiful houses. They are looking to recruit more properties to join.

The houses include 2 National Trust properties, keats house, Wesley's House, Ben Franklin's House etc one of the others is the great composer George Frederic Handel (which is near Wigmore Hall which I go to alot!!).

If you visit five or more London Shh... houses by 31st December 2014 and receive a limited edition goodie bag. Obviously I should have picked by a loyalty card at Fenton!

I may have to visit one or two when I'm up London next. eg Wesley's House is near LSO St Lukes..... oh and some have discounts for NT members!

Sounds like a great organisation. Do wish London wasn't so far away at times. My son was there yesterday and visited the British Museum (free) and has said how good it was.
