Music at the Wigmore Hall and flowers and sculpture at the Gibberd Garden

I spent the morning in London (yes there are pics but they will be coming later).

I was at the Wigmore Hall to see the Pacifica Quartet.

The programme was

Sergey Prokofiev - String Quartet No 2 in F Op 92
Johannes Brahms - String Quartet in C minor Op 51 No 1

I'm not a huge Prokofiev fan but I really enjoyed the 2nd movement.

Simin Ganatra on violin and Brandon Vamos on cello were particularly good I thought.

The encore was a Pizzicato from a Bartok String Quartet. Thanks to the quartet for telling us!! Again I'm not a Bartok fan but this was a fun encore.

We got home from London and popped to the Gibberd Garden. It was the first opening of the season and as it was Mother's Day it was HEAVING.

The bottom of the garden was still a bit damp after it was flooded earlier in the year but now open.

Sir Frederick.......

The garden looked lovely, and I will be back a few times to document it.
