His nibs and I are both early risers so we soon up and on the way home......
It was a good week, and there was no rain until yesterday.
Anyway I had read that there was a Greenshank down at Rye Meads. This would be a year tick but more importantly I've never seen one at Rye Meads so a patch tick!
Anyway I got to Rye Meads had a stroll and at the Tern hide there it was!
So a successful spot of local birding. Alas no pics....
