Lord, what fools these mortals be!

And so to London...

Today I was off to the Globe to see a Mr William Shakespeare's A Midsummer Night's Dream.

So we got off at Marble Arch and walked back on ourselves.....

This squirrel was just about to pose when a woman on a bike and her dog came charging along. The dog went for the Squirrel who showed great agility in avoiding the brute..... he loos a bit shocked eh!

No comment.....

The one on the right is really scary......

And the play? Well much as I enjoyed Macbeth it didn't leave me wanting more.... but I had tickets to A Midsummer Night's Dream and boy was it good. I have not laughed so much in years. Bottom was brilliant! I suspect I'll be back next season!

Midsummer is the play we used to use to introduce children to Shakespeare- they like to laugh too- but its an adult sense of humour which makes it work best! as you found...personally I like WS all sorts!

Lovely photos of London Pete. I saw a version of A Midsummer Night's Dream at RSC Stratford. Probably the best Shakespeare play I have seen there and it was funniest production I have ever seen.
