Double, double toil and trouble; Fire burn, and cauldron bubble.

And so to London

and no not a musical Sunday today I was off to the Globe Theatre to see some chappy called William Shakespeare's play Macbeth......

We wandered along the south bank.

Southwark Cathedral.

The Globe...

As you can see we were under cover. It did rain but luckily for those in the open only during the interval!  I can say that the hire of cushions are worthwhile!

The performance was very enjoyable. The chap playing Macbeth (Joseph Millson) was good, the actor play Malcolm felt like someone from Blackadder II and the one playing MacDuff voice didn't carry as well as it might.

But I am being picky because it was well done especially as there were no sets. I'm off again the end of August.

Glad you enjoyed Pete and remembered the cushions. I loved it there - the Globe gives such an authentic atmosphere :) Some nice photos of London by the way.
Where are you off to in August?

Lucky you to see a Shakespeare play. I enjoyed the photos. I especially like the Thomas Cure tomb or whatever it's called. I could do with that wonderful dragon as well.
