We went to Stratford upon Avon this morning. I'd have like to have spent more time there but the price of the car park was MAD!!
By the way does Stratford Upon Avon have some Shakespeare connection? There was the odd mention of him.
And so we headed to the last National Trust property of the week Upton House (curiously we haven't been to the nearest to where we are staying Chastleton House alas a steep hill, no buggy and his nibs legs deterred us).

alas the gallery was closed for refurb. But some selected pictures were on display in the old squash court (?). Including a fine Bosch.
