Musical Sunday and a visit to St James Park.....

Well hello who turned on the sun? It was a concert Sunday and it was lovely strolling around London. We headed down to St James Park.

Mistle Thrush

Apsley House

Some palace....

Anyway enough of that

Egyptian goose gosling.... seriously cute.

peekaboo

Baby Crow!

Song Thrush

Cormorant with a mouthful!

and a quick stop in the Hyde Park Rose gardens

The concert was the Elias String Quartet playing

Mendelssohn String Quartet in Eb Op 12
Britten String Quartet No 3 Op. 94

I'm not really a fan of Britten but thought maybe live I'd be convinced alas not.....Mendelssohn was nice though!

Looks like you had a lovely day. The roses are quite something. The perfume must be heady as you walk along there. Love, love the crow baby. The little chicks are adorable as always.

Like Tricia's, your new cameras are producing some great results Pete.

Roy

the cameras on that day were the Pan G5 and 100-300 and the gx1 with the little power zoom.

the previous day was a Fuji XE1 - and don't ask why two systems ;)

Pete, The Pan 100-300 is very underrated by a lot of websites, I don't think they know what they are talking about, as I always get good results form it. It was money well spent as far as I am concerned.

Two systems, why not, I would if my 'Accountant' would agree to it.{:))

I do like the 100-300. How does it focus on the GH3?? is continuous focus usable?

the one thing I miss about the d300...

I'd be interested in Roy's reply... would ditch dSLR if focusing was faster with the 4/3 cameras
