Burford and Lodge Park

My father must be getting old. For the first time EVER he didn't pack the car the night before and we never left home til 8am.....!! So after finding the cottage we popped into Burford. Apparently the Burford festival was on.

The church is one of my favourites

a banquet was taking place later

and on to Lodge Park which was built as a Grandstand to watch deer coursing.

a pretty good start to the holiday. First ice cream eaten... ;)

Wonderful lot of photos. The festival is very colourful. I love the huge vase in front of that shop. I wouldn't say no to it, hint, hint, lol.

Lodge Park looks interesting - buttercup fields gorgeous and you've been on a roof again :)!!
