Hyde Park and some music

Hello Hello the snow has gone and not only that the temperature has gone up.

So after Porridge and a bacon roll it was off to Hyde Park.

The great thing about Hyde Park is that you can birds like Tufties close up.

They were so close in you could see them when they were under water!

Bearded Tits playing hide and seek.

And today's concert at the Wigmore Hall

Colin Carr (Cello) and Thomas Sauer (Piano)
Beethoven - 12 Variation on a Theme from Handel's Judas Maccabeaus
Schubert - Arpeggione Sonata in A minor
Rachmaninov - Cello Sonata in G minor.

Wonderful pictures. I love the angel in the last two. The viking didn't believe that you had parrots over there until I proved it by showing him the pictures.

Lovely photos Pete - incredible to see the Bearded Tits in the middle of London!

Thanks for letting me know Lichfield Cathedral is worth a visit. Will also consider Shugborough Hall - my only memory of that place is accompanying a school trip of primary school children - not the best of ways of appreciating a place :)
