Coastal Views and a bit of birding

Off to Sussex today to Tricia's. I set off nice and early and buy the time I arrived it was foggy. Trish assured me that the coast would be clear and off we went. After  an eventful drive (personally I drive on the left but Trish likes to use the whole width of the road). We had breakfast at the "not yet world famous" Sea Lane Cafe (known to Trish as the 8 day cafe). Nice breakfast with good views.

We then went for a stroll along the front.

Then on to the RSPB Pulborough Books. Quite a nice range of birds, Lesser Redpoll, Bullfinch, Buzzard, Peregrine (seen missing some teal!), Kestrel, Nuthatch, Great Spotted Woodpecker, Green Woodpecker, Goldcrest, Lapwing and a variety of ducks! Mammals included Fox, Rabbit and Deer.

It looked and sounded like a very nice day Pete and not as bleak as I would have expected given how icy cold it's been here. Pretty little Robin.

Sounds like you had a lovely day out Pete. At least you had blue skies :) Like the photos of the boats on the beach :)
