Christmas at Wimpole

So where to today?

First stop the RSPB's Fowlmere reserve. Highlights being Redpoll, Siskin, Bullfinch, Jay, Great Spotted & Green Woodpecker, Fieldfare, Jay, Kestrel and Redwing.

No birdy photos.

And so onto the National Trust's Wimpole Hall.

The hall was decked for Christmas and there was free entry to the farm for members so the place was heaving. Decided to have an early lunch, Spring Vegetable soup very tasty.

Hello, this looks like something to consider for later.

Various children were heard to ask parents what this was about... LOL

Wow, that's quite a spread of sweets. It would be very hard to choose. Again the sculptures are wonderful. The xmas tree is pretty but certainly can't come close to yours. Are we going to see it soon? haha. Just teasing! Love the pictures.

Looked like a great day Pete and the lemon drizzle made my mouth water even though coffee and walnut is my favourite :-)
