Homeward Bound

And so to the last day. Luckily our checkout wasn't until 12!!

The weather was poor, if the Musee d'Orsay had been open.... but it was n't so we headed into town to see if St Eustache allowed photos (it was manned today).

En route at the Louvres.

St Eustache and yes the bloke at the office said photos were fine (well he nodded when I pointed at my camera). The light was awful after yesterday :(

It was raining so headed back to the hotel. Stopping to look in St German de Pres.

We walked past to blue skies Thursday!

We headed to the hotel and checked out.

We stopped at the Cafe Flore for lunch (Omelette and Wine !!) . The chap serving was a bit miserable (although he smiled when serving two pairs of attractive young women well can't blame him). It was no better or worse than others we tried.

Off to the Gard du Nord and home.......

I'll post some thoughts tomorrow!

Sounds and looks like you both had a wonderful holiday. Thanks so much for sharing - have so enjoyed seeing Paris through your eyes and lens! :)

Hi Pete, I caught up with all your holiday posts last night and Tricia's this morning and very enjoyable they were too. You have certainly made the most of your time there and seen some wonderful sights. Glad you had at least some sunshine. Lovely photos throughout.
