Gardens and strolling Paris

If the weather was bad it was the Musee d'Orsay if it was good we were going to the Jardins Du Luxembourg..

The sun was shining so off we set....

A quick detour to show our restaurant (excuse me I need to drool)...

The garden was packed with joggers and those just out enjoying themselves.  We saw quite a few birds including Treecreeper, Nuthatch, Blackcap and Parakeet!!!

We had a drink at the garden cafe (the only poor service we encountered).

And so on to the Pantheon. It has been a church, mausoleum for the dead of the revolution etc.

Whatever it's a lovely building...

The Tour St-Jacques. The church was pulled down in 1802 and the tower used as a weather station.

We headed to the Georges Pomapidou centre

No intention of looking in . We were just soaking up "the vibe" of the City. We stopped to eat (Omelette and wine) overlooking the Stravinsky Fountain.

We headed to the Jardin des Halles which is now a massive building site ! But the church of St Eustache is amazing.

Unfortunately after taking the above I noticed a no cameras sign and so despite others ignoring it I stopped.

The Bourse

We then headed for the Palais Royal

These young musician are called Classique Metropolitan. They are from the music school and are the first to EVER have been put money into a hat!!

And then to our last meal!! It was a good one though!

What a wonderful city. There must have been so many things to take picture of every where you turned. Love the pictures.
