A church, a manor and a Mallard

So where to today?

I thought I'd show you one of my favourite churches. All Saints Brockhampton, it's not that old.

I then headed to Ledbury.

And finally to Lower Brockhampton a 14th century medieval moated manor house in the care of the National Trust.

And the humble Mallard!

I'm coming

I'm ready for my close up!

I went to the tea room for a slice of Victoria sponge ! Hey withdrawal symptoms.

Glad you were able to have some cake today, Pete :D More great places and photos - the b@w are great. Beautiful church too and the last photo is intriguing.

My grandfather came from Hereford and before that the family lived in Broseley so we used to visit the area a lot when I was little. I have, therefore, really enjoyed the various places you have visited as it has brought back many memories for me. Thanks for sharing!

Is that a thatched roof on the church? It looks so light and airy inside too.

The tudor-style buildings lend themselves to B&W.

Love the look of Brockhampton and your first 2 pics are lovely.

And the tree truck - really fascinating. Are the little people part of the carving or added on I wonder?
