wandering locally

It was a slightly better morning than yesterday so out I popped.

I headed to Fisher's Green. All the usual suspects about but it was nice to see that there seemed to be two pairs of Great Crested Grebes (all seeming coming into breeding plumage) and a female Smew - yet to see the dapper male this year! Eygtian Geese were added to the year list.








The Great Tits didn't want to play ball! So as a bit of variety.

That Chaff lady will be chuffed to be chosen as a bit of variety.
Many peeps see her as a LBJ only. Which I never understand cause they have such lovely characters.

i guess they get overlooked next to the male. this lady is a little more marked i think
