Apparently this winter is forecast to be as cold as last winters. Yet more travel chaos then with all that snow!! Will certain people in Canada behave!!
According to folklore if Bewick's Swans arrive early then we are in for a cold winter. So you'll be "pleased" to know that there Bewick's Swans are back!! and its the earliest they've arrived since 2003. That's more than two weeks earlier than last year - but not in the same volumes.
I will be heading to Welney later in the year for a swan fest of photos!
