Bee Part of It

One of the things you here about if you listen to BBC local radio is their campaign, along with the National Trust, Bee Part of it.

Regular readers of this blog will no all about the problems the Honey Bee is having. The campaign is introducing 45 new honey bee colonies at locations all around the country. Every hive is being adopted by a BBC Local Radio station, as well as by the BBC in Wales, Scotland and Northern Ireland.

Thanks for that interesting information, Pete. I noticed one of the "Bee Part of it" signs at Baddesley. Its really great that the National Trust and BBC Local Radio are getting involved in highlighting the honey bee decline.

It's really good to hear of large organisations joining forces for the good of the cause - in this case bees and, ultimately, us. Seems that Mottisfont is the nearest to me as I can't find anything for my local radio station.
