home

we set off early and were back home before 8:45!! its only 70 miles.

So I popped into Rye Meads. Though the reserve remains free they've introduced a £2 car parking charge for non RSPB members, not sure how that affects Wildlife Trust members as its a joint reserve.

Sounds like you and your dad had a great holiday, Pete and you have taken some super photos. The gardens at Sissinghurst and Great Dixter look beautiful - both gardens I would love to visit. I love the orchid photos from a week ago and nice to see the photos of spotted flycatcher - I haven't seen this species locally for some years.

Another great holiday finished. When is the next one? Great shots of the birds. I love the last one with the little birds peeking out.

Lovely Heron pics!

Just looked through (and enjoyed) all the holiday photos, looks like you and your Dad had a great time.

Loved the Swan with its little one riding on its back and all the Spotted Flycatcher photos too.
