A stroll

I didn't fancy going far today I wandered over the Forest again this morning.

Lots of birds singing including Chiffchaff's.

There were 6 Grebes on the lake and over the lake were loads of Swallow and one Sand Martin!

I stopped at the lake Cafe for a cuppa and a Sandwich. I walked to a bench over looking the lake. The Grebes danced tantalisngly at the other side of the lake. One Canada Geese with a nest chased off two others and just as my sarnie was heading towards my mouth a Chiffy perched up nearby - hey ho.

Still as I sat there this Grebe came close enough

The two geese flew off

And Mrs Mallard thought if I creep up I might get a bit of sarnie.

Now if I pose and smile at him....

a pleasant stroll.

Just catching up on some blogs. Nice to see some signs of spring down south. We still have snow on the hills. Roll on spring. Like the mallard photos.
