Some birds

And where to today? I decided I really ought to do some birding so off to Fisher's Green.

Not sure my friend digi will like these!

One of the sounds of summer. Mr Blackcap in full voice!

There were Chiffchaffs singing as well but I didn't hear a Nightingale and there were no Martins or Terns.

I headed off to Rye Meads. The birds refused to come into camera range but I SAW a Cetti's Warbler, saw two Redshank, two Stock Dove, there were a few Chiffchaffs singing and at least 3 Blackcap. The highlights were a singing Willow Warbler and a Common Whitethroat.

I got back to the car park put my camera away in the car and as I opened the door a flipping Kestrel flew over my head and then came back!! Hey ho nice day.

Love the LTT's, and the singing Blackcap, excellent.
Well done on seeing the Cetti's; shy little blighters aren't they.
