Essex Wildlife

Well the snow has gone again it wasn't really that much.

Last night there was a programme on BBC2's Natural World Strand on the wildlife of Essex. At one point they were in Epping Forest and looking at Fallow Deer.

I was going to Dad's tonight so it was rather a coincidence that as I approached Epping Upland there were 6 fallow deer including a rather nice stag. I continued on my way and game across two group's of 20+ between Epping Green and Jack's Hatch!

Best part of the day!
