And the sky went blue for a while!

There was something seriously wrong this morning. The sky was a funny blue colour most odd.

And so where to go. Well I needed to test my Christmas present from me to me!! So I headed off to the Essex border and the lovely village of Dedham

The church had a Christmas tree festival.

So on to Flatford Mill

I'm amazed at the quality and definition of your pictures taken with a compact camera. Worth every penny I would say :D

Great shots - especially like the last one and the 3rd from last - I think Hugh would be impressed with those ;)

That is a beautiful church. Looks so peaceful, homes, cemetery, it is a lovely village. Enjoy your gift to yourself. You can already tell the good quality of photos the new camera will provide.

Struggling to find the relevance of a tiger by a Christmas tree, but never mind!!

Images look nice and crisp and bright, although on my monitor the shadows seem to have lost a lot of detail.

New cam is performing well Pete! I like the London shots, they are a bit different from your normal subjects.
