STOP IT!!

A colleague of mine brought his netbook into today. Are we meant to take it seriously? its tiny its got a 10 inch screen and a maximum one gb of memory.

And it is so cool!!

The thing is so light, for the traveller you can pack it away and not notice it!

That one 1gb of memory means you have to be careful of the number of applications you run but you could edit your photos in photoshop close it down and then edit via email. Really handy for sitting in the pub as you can get battery life of 6 hours or so.

BUT I DON'T WANT ONE SO WILL I PLEASE STOP LOOKING AT REVIEWS AND STUFF

I've got a eeepc and I love it! Great for travel. Prices are coming down... definitely a worthwhile investment.
Photoshop is much too bloated for a netbook tho. I use GIMP on mine and it doesnt struggle at all.

I have a friend with one..she takes it on trips..uses Skype to talk to family in other countries and loads her photos. I've got my eye on one so my hubby can play poker on the boat while I work on the laptop with photos and blogs.

CS2. I forgot to mention that I use Open Office for documents and spreadsheets instead of Microsoft Office, less memory use, and also free :D

Hee hee hee.
I would rather like one for taking into my coffee shop.
Can't justify it, but I think my Toshiba laptop is cool too (bigger screen, 2GB memory). I don't know why I dithered so long before getting it.
