I'm sure it'll come as surprise to you that I am about to have a holiday. I mean its not as if I do holidays now is it? Cough splutter. After year-end though I think I deserve it!
I'm heading to the Wiltshire/Dorset border, I actually thought I was staying in Wiltshire but my pub is just in Dorset. Oh I am staying in Motcombe between Shaftesbury and Gillingham.
If anyone has any places they'd recommend I visit then please feel free.
I was looking at places to go and was dismissing places I may have shown you before! This is a bit sad isn't it? So expect some repeats from 2006. Anyway I'm likely to visit:

Lacock Abbey
The Courts Garden
Westwood Manor
Dinton Park/Philipps House
Iford Manor Garden
Old Sarum Castle
Old Wardour Castle
Farleigh Hungerford Castle
Sherborne Castle
Not many churches on the agenda (just one really, maybe 2) but I might visit Salisbury Cathedral http://www.salisburycathedral.org.uk/ and Sherborne Abbey (a parish church but of cathedral proportions).
Please note that EVEN I am not likely to do them all in about 4 days! If there is anywhere in that lot anyone would like to see photos of (yes OC everywhere I know :D ) then please let me know.

I had a look at the ones in your list. They all look wonderful. I find Old Sarum quite fascinating. I have a feeling that I saw a documentary on that not too long ago but could be wrong. Yes please, pictures from everywhere, lol.
