Strolling

For Turquis benefit the yellow flower yesterday is a Winter Aconite.

Anyway I popped down Rye Meads this afternoon, still very quiet. There were a few Little Grebes outside the Draper hide, given that a pair breed there that's promising. A few Shelduck as well.

There were two pairs of Canada Geese who had a scrap and one pair flew off. Highlights a Goldcrest pretending it was a Hummer! and there was a Cetti's Warbler calling by the moorhen hide.
