Conservative councillor Richard Clayton left his wife for a woman 20 years younger after 38 years of marriage, he then set up home with her just 25 yards away. Now you can imagine this was going to cause a little bit of tension!
Mr Clayton's son Richard Jr was so incensed he is standing against him in the forthcoming local elctions.
It all seems to be getting a bit messy with Mr Clayton Jr accusing the local Conservative party of dirty tricks.
