Birds, Churches and Palaces

It was a tadge windy last night!

Well on my list of churches still to visit is one in Esher and as Trica lives in Esher.....

We started out going to Bushey Park.

The London parks are rather nice for photographing birds, the birds get used to people. Oh there are a few exotics.

A real surprise to see these cute little Eygptian Geese chicks.

We strolled across the road to Hampton Court Palace. The gardens and the palace are superb. The Palace was originally built by Cardinal Wolsey in the 1520s and was extensively expanded by William & Mary at the end of the 17th century.

When you got out of the wind the sun had some power!

Anyway on to Esher (no pound shops here, they have brances of Killik & Co stockbrokers in the high street) and 659 St George Esher.

It has a fine monument to Charlotte and Leopold. She would have been queen after George IV if she hadn't died in childbirth. There pew over looks the nave.

A rather rewarding and pleasant day all in all
