Hymns and Music

We met the chap doing the funeral last night. He's known Mum & Dad for over 60 years. For all that we aren't religious it'll be nice to have someone taking the service who knew her and isn't saying "words" about someone they had never met.

As to Music and Hymns, we went for the "King of Love my Shepherd" is and "Morning has Broken" with the entry music being Morning from Peer Gynt by Grieg and the exit music being Canon in D by Pachebel.

All of those are beautiful music. And the last one will tear your heart to pieces. But it is immportant that it does, because it is the one that will always remind you of the day; and your love. That love will never end. Please remember.

I am so pleased that the funeral director? Vicar? knew your Mother, the chap who did my Brother's didn't know any of us - it was a rubbish funeral... a complete farce in fact.

Be weak or brave, it matters not. We will be here to support and comfort you.

Big hugs from an old Welsh Girl. xxx
