I'll just do Q.2.

It simply has to be real. Prefeably a Norwegian Blue. It wouldn't be Christmas without the smell.

That being said, I'm not bothering with anything this year as there's nowhere to sit and appreciate it.

And I have a rather nice Playmobil Christmas scene

I was just saying to Kate Blogs that I was looking at a photo of two little girls in the 50s who had such a small Christmas tree that it probably took them 10 minutes to decorate. Yours, on the other hand... 10 seconds? :-).

We always had a real tree, until i married. it's been a good imitation one since. The old glass baubles and decorations were retired with the tree, some dated back to the 1920's, i miss these as itwas always part of christmas for me. Oh and an angel on top, although the original one is retired also.
