I thought I'd publish this link to the story of Irish Setter Madyson who has given birth to 15 puppies. Before Madyson's owner could help clean them her other dog, Liliana an English Setter, started to help Madyson.
When the pups started feeding Liliana also began producing milk so she could share the load.

I saw this on the news and apparently they are also nursing an orphaned kitten!
