A lazy day

Well I went to Hatfield Forest this morning. The Forest looked lovely with the leaves turning. Nice group of 20 deer.

Redwings seem to be arriving in some force. Great Spots were very noisy today and the Green Woodpecker were nice and showy. Some large tit flocks and one had a Marsh Tit in it.

The lake was packed with Black Headed Gulls 500+ and a bit of a surprise a Ruddy Shelduck. A pair of Great Crested Grebes and teal also on the lake.

A pair of Bullfinches as I left and the Grey Squirrels were very active.

Popped into see Mum she has deteriorated this week :(

sorry to hear about mum, such a worrying time for you and dad, my thoughts are with you and dad x
Amazing the age of some of the buildings you visited last week, can't imagine the new buildings of today will last as long!
