The Royal Mail Delivers - Eventually!

I heard this on the radio this morning.

When Soldier Walter Butler was fighting in France in 1917 he sent a postcard to his fiancee to tell her he was a live and well. The postcard has just been deliverd 90 years later.

The card was finally found in the Swindon sorting office. His fiancee, Amy Hicks, lived in Colerne Wiltshire and Amy and Walters daughter still live there and the card was delivered to her.

So THAT's what happened to my Valentine's cards.
